WA Country Conference 2019

Join us at the Cable Beach Resort in Broome from June 14-16, 2019 for the annual Western Australian country conference. 
Cable Beach Resort is a three-hour flight from Perth, and located in the superb North West of Western Australia, nestled alongside the crystal clear waters of beautiful Broome.

This ACE continuing medical education event is a great opportunity to improve your practical skills while meeting the ANZCA emergency response workshop requirements.

Over the two days, we'll be providing you with exciting new updates; inviting you to participate in innovative workshops; and clinical pearls from high profile Australian speakers.

Over from the East coast, we have for you our esteemed Keynote Speaker Professor Philip Peyton, world expert and Chair of the ANZCA Clinical Trials Network and Dr Nicholas Chrimes, creator of the Vortex Approach.

From WA we are proud to present our very own homegrown talent sharing their pearls with you; Professor Richard Riley, Professor Tomas Corcoran, Dr Jing Xiao, Professor Eric Visser, Professor Michael Paech, Dr Christine Grobler, Dr Mei-Mei Westwood, Dr Yayoi Ohashi, and Dr Leena Nagappan.

Social activities

Friday night sundowner
Welcome drinks will be held on the Okari Deck within the resort grounds while watching the sunset, after the canapes, the seated welcome dinner is themed Arabian Nights and will be held on the lawns. Delegates will be surrounded by a beautiful setting and enjoy a delicious meal; children are welcome.

Saturday night dinner
'A Night of Pure Opulence' includes the seated Saturday dinner by the Ocean Pool at the Cable Beach Resort. This pearl themed event includes dinner as well as a pearl harvesting demonstration by Willie Creek Pearls CEO, Sally Hollins. The harvested pearl will then be auctioned for charity. Dress to impress in black and white only.

Please note that this activity is not included in the registration fee and children are unable to attend.

Cancellation of registrations up until four days prior to the meeting will be fully refunded. Any cancellations from and including June 10 will not be refunded unless in the case of a proven emergency.

Please note that delegates will automatically receive CPD for the conference in their portfolios, and general conference certificates are no longer be issued. Workshop certificates will continue to be issued once the workshop has been successfully completed.
