Dr Nigel Robertson (NZ)

New Zealand fellow 1992

BSc. - 1980, MB ChB – 1982

Nominated by: Dr V Beavis (NZ) and Dr R Mitchell (SA)

My first three years on ANZCA Council have allowed me to gain a much deeper understanding of how the college functions. ANZCA, I believe, is now a progressive, forward-thinking organisation, committed to enhancing the practice of anaesthesia in Australasia and beyond. Our training programme and research network are world-class.

Working with the regulators in both countries, our support for fellows is building on our already highly- regarded professional development program, through workforce and welfare initiatives. As an experienced clinician, I'm committed to working for the college and its fellows to deliver safe and equitable anaesthesia practice to patients across Australasia.
