Dr Frank Moloney
Frank Moloney is Director of Anaesthesia at Orange Base Hospital,
Director of Prevocational Education and Training at Orange Base
Hospital and visiting medical officer anaesthetist Dudley Private
Hospital and Orange Day Surgery Centre. After training at the
University of Sydney and Westmead hospitals, Frank became a Fellow of
the Faculty of Anaesthetists, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
(FFARACS) in 1979 and a Fellow of ANZCA in 1993. He joined Orange Base
Hospital in 1980, was co-opted to ANZCA’s NSW Regional Committee in
1991 and remained on the committee until 2004, serving as chair from
2001 to 2003. He was a founding member of Joint Consultative Committee
on Anaesthesia in 1993. In 2005, Frank was co-opted to the ANZCA
Council and was elected in 2006. Frank has been a member of several
Council committees and was chair of the Continuing Professional
Development Committee and assistant assessor from 2006 to 2008. He is
chair of the JCCA. Frank is a founding member Institute of Rural
Clinical Services and Teaching. In 2004, he was awarded ANZCA's Orton
Medal for services to Anaesthesia.
