Dr Lindy Roberts
Lindy Roberts, FANZCA (1997), FFPMANZCA (1999), FAICD (2009), is a
staff specialist in anaesthesia and pain management at Sir Charles
Gairdner Hospital, Perth, where she is director of the acute pain
service. Her interests include ENT anaesthesia, acute pain management
in the setting of opioid tolerance and/or substance abuse, and teaching
at the bedside. Lindy has been an ANZCA councillor since 2004. She is
now the treasurer, the council representative to the Faculty of Pain
Medicine Board, and a member of the Training Accreditation Committee.
Her past College roles include ANZCA and Faculty of Pain Medicine
supervisor of training, WA regional education officer and formal
project officer, and executive member of the Welfare of Anaesthetists
SIG. She is a former chair of the Education and Training Committee
(2007–2010), member of the Curriculum Review Working Group (2008–2010),
chair of the Workplace Based Assessments Committee (2009–2010),
assessor (2005–2010), assistant assessor, OTS Committee chair, annual
scientific meeting officer and Faculty of Pain Medicine examiner
(2002–2009).
