Dr Michelle Mulligan
Michelle Mulligan works as an anaesthetist in private and public
practice in Sydney, with an interest in corporate governance and
management. Michelle trained as an anaesthetist at Royal Prince Alfred
Hospital, NSW, gaining her fellowship in 1995. She has practised in
metropolitan (Sydney), major regional (ACT), rural (Wagga Wagga) and
international settings. She has held senior hospital management
positions including medical superintendent and director of medical
services. Although primarily a clinician, Michelle has holds a masters
of business administration and is a graduate of the Australian
Institute of Company Directors. She has served on the board of
directors of several companies including the Institute of Technology
Australia, a higher education provider with a social-justice mission
that she co-founded with her husband. Michelle is married and has two
teenage sons.
