ANZCA/NZSA New Zealand Anaesthesia Workforce Survey
ANZCA and the NZSA are currently undertaking a major New Zealand workforce study to measure the current supply and demand of anaesthesia services in New Zealand. The study will identify the factors that potentially affect the future demand and supply of those services.
A critical component of the workforce study is a survey which seeks to understand workforce trends and their implications for the delivery of services and for the profession.
All New-Zealand based anaesthesia providers – ANZCA Fellows, Trainees and IMGs - have been invited to complete the survey. Eligible anaesthetists have been provided with a link to the online survey which also allows them to download a hard copy, should they prefer to do so.
The survey will run until Monday, 28 September 2009.
