Development - ANZCA Distance Education Resources
The College is currently undertaking the following projects to expand and develop its range of distance education materials for both Fellows and Trainees.
Rural Advanced Specialist Trainee Support (RASTS) Programme
The RASTS Programme aims to address the relative disadvantage experienced by rural and regional trainees in accessing learning activities by providing access to educational video podcasts and interactive web discussions.
Further information about this programme, including access to multimedia resources, is available from the RASTS Programme web page.
Final Examination Preparation Resource
This resource is designed to assist Trainees preparing for the ANZCA Final Examination. It provides an insight into the exam process and also focuses on what happens on the day. It includes examples of 'mock' vivas to demonstrate ways in which you can optimize your performance on the day.
Further information about this resource is available by visiting the Final Examination Preparation Resource web page
Distance Education Working Group (DEWG)
The main role of this group is to steer the RASTS (Rural Advanced Specialist Trainee Support) Program as well as other distance education initiatives.
Further information about the projects currently overseen by this group is available from the Distance Education Working Group web page
Trainee Support Kit*
The Trainee Support Kit was initially developed as a hard-copy document to assist Trainees to progress through the ANZCA Training Programme. The content of this kit is currently being reviewed and the next edition will be published online.
