AfPP2011 is a combined event which has taken place in October since 1964. It includes AfPP's annual congress in conjunction with the largest medical device exhibition in the UK. This year’s theme for the event will be - Challenges and Change: leading from the front line. There has never before been such fundamental change of healthcare delivery as defined by the white paper and the effects of these changes are starting to be felt at the perioperative front line.
The programme offers the delegates an understanding of the change agenda, coupled with clinical safety aspects of caring for perioperative patients as is so important to our delegates. In addition, there are some uplifting and motivating sessions for personal development. The congress provides over 30 hours of Continuing Professional Development from 16 specialist sessions, 8 masterclasses and four key main auditorium sessions.
You will be given the opportunity to understand the change agenda coupled with clinical safety aspects, engage with uplifting and motivating sessions for personal development and empowering individuals to speak out. The exhibition features around 100 medical device companies showcasing the latest technology, innovation and excellence in Perioperative care, on the show floor you will be able to network with these companies as well as attend innovative workshops arranged by our event partners.
