"Assisting Trainees with Difficulties"
This module includes an overview of the types of problems encountered by trainees, different approaches required for different problems, relevant College policies and procedures, how In-Training Assessment may be used to define, remediate and prevent problems, and provides an opportunity to practise skills for providing feedback to trainees.
By the end of the workshop you should be able to:

identify trainees with problems

define the problem
-
determine whether problems are at the system, supervision or trainee level

develop strategies to address problems
-
identify resources to assist in addressing problems

refer to the ANZCA policies relevant to the problem
