“Assessment”
The Assessment module introduces you to the key concepts underpinning assessment and encourages you to explore ways in which you can make your assessment practices more effective. The activities and discussions will focus on developing your understanding and practice of formative assessment although some attention will be given to the place of summative assessment.
By the end of the workshop you should be able to:
- Define the key concepts underpinning assessment
- Explain your current formative assessment processes
- Develop approaches to assessing knowledge, skills and attitudes
- Align assessment practices with module objectives
- Give constructive feedback on performance
