Mandatory Compliance Policy
The Mandatory Compliance Policy defines the requirement for Fellows of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, including Faculty of Pain Medicine Specialists, to comply with the standard for continuing professional development (CPD) set by the College.

ANZCA Continuing Professional Development Standards
The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, including the Faculty of Pain Medicine, is the medical specialist college for specialist anaesthetists and specialist pain medicine physicians in Australia and New Zealand accredited by the Australian Medical Council, and authorised by the New Zealand Medical Council, to set the CPD standards, which are defined in this policy.

Special Consideration Policy
Special consideration can be granted retrospectively for circumstances considered compelling and/or compassionate (beyond the control of the participant which impacts on progress or wellbeing), that have impacted on Fellows ability to meet the minimum CPD requirements within their CPD triennium.
