CPD portfolio features

The new CPD portfolio system retains some features with which participants will be familiar such as recording each activity, entering a plan at the beginning of the triennium and the triennial evaluation towards the end. It includes new functionality to ensure a streamlined process for recording activities, with the added ability to upload supporting evidence.

Accessing your CPD portfolio

Participants are able to access the new CPD portfolio system via the ANZCA website, using their College ID number and password, by clicking on the button below.

Web browser compatibility

The CPD portfolio has been tested on many types and version of web browsers, and the list below indicated the browsers and versions that will fully support the CPD portfolios functions.

  • Internet Explorer: 10
  • Firefox: 25, 24
  • Chrome: 31, 30
  • Safari: 7, 6, 5
  • Opera: 18

If you are using any browser or browser version that is not in this list, you may experience difficulties with the portfolio, for example; you may not be able to save your activities or entries for your plan and/or evaluation.

Automatic recognition of CPD events

ANZCA or FPM events

When a participant registers online for an ANZCA or FPM run event via the ANZCA or FPM website, credits will be automatically entered into the participant's portfolio to be confirmed or edited shortly after the conclusion of the event.

ANZCA ASM

As the Annual Scientific Meeting has a large number of delegates and a wide variety of workshops to register for, more time is required before activities and credits can be automatically entered into the CPD portfolio. Each year the ASM handbook will contain details on the expected time frame for this process to be completed.

Links with the Training Portfolio System

If assessments are completed on trainees and logged in the ANZCA training portfolio system (TPS), credits will be automatically entered into the participant's CPD portfolio for later confirmation or editing. Provisional Fellows can also select activities submitted in the TPS within the CPD portfolio system quickly and easily to avoid the need to enter activities twice.

Built in resources for activities

On the dashboard and for the relevant activities, helpful information and resources are embedded on the screens for your convenience. These resources have been developed with ANZCA and FPM input to meet the needs of both specialities.

Your previous CPD information

If a participant has completed a previous CPD triennium with ANZCA, all of this information, including the plan, evaluation and previously earned certificates, will be available within the new system for your reference.

Uploading supporting evidence

For each activity saved in the CPD portfolio, supporting evidence can be attached and stored within the portfolio. This evidence can be accessed, deleted or replaced at any time within the relevant triennium.

If an individual is selected as part of the annual verification of CPD activities, the CPD unit will be able to view the evidence saved within the portfolio, which will mean that no further documentation for that activity needs to be submitted.

Individual files can be up to 5MB, multiple files can be attached for a single activity up to 30MB collectively.

The following file types can be saved within the portfolio:

  • .pdf
  • .doc
  • .docx
  • .ppt

  • .bmp
  • .jpeg
  • .png
  • .gif
