SIG Overview & Application Form

The Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are tripartite bodies with the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists. Appropriate groups of anaesthetists join together to study and report on specific areas of anaesthesia. Their particularly focused information provides continuing education for those anaesthetists tending to specialise in these areas.
There are currently sixteen SIGs.

SIG Membership Application and Constitution
SIGs are tripartite bodies of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists. A copy of the generic constitution is available for viewing.
The SIGs were created so that appropriate groups of anaesthetists could join together to study and report on specific areas of anaesthesia. Their particularly focused information provides continuing education for those anaesthetists tending to specialise in these areas.
