Introduction
The Rural Anaesthesia Recruitment Service is a collaborative venture between the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and the Australian Society of Anaesthetists. The spirit of co-operation of the two primary professional bodies of Anaesthesia in Australia has occurred to solve some of the unmet needs of rural practitioners and subsequently rural citizens.
