It is with great pleasure I invite you to attend the Day Care Special Interest Group’s 2010 Conference, ‘Day Surgery – Is it for Everyone?’, to be held on Friday 30th April 2010 at the Christchurch Town Hall and Performing ArtsCentre. This is a satellite meeting held the day prior to the 2010 ANZCA ASM to be held in Christchurch from the 1-5 May.
The theme of the meeting will be Day Surgery – is it for Everyone? Lee Fleisher, M.D, Professor andChair
of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care, Professor of Medicine at the
University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and author of many
articles on perioperative medicine will be our international visitor.
The program also features a strong line up of local speakers.
The meeting will be of interest to those who wish to examine cutting edge issues facing anaesthetists in the day surgery unit.
The meeting will be followed by a welcome reception. I hope you can join us for what promises to be a stimulating meeting.
