The aim of this web page is to improve communication with all Fellows about the aims, objectives and activities of the Rural Special Interest Group (SIG). 


The Rural SIG will hold a session at the upcoming 2018 joint ANZCA ASM and RACS ASC, on May 11, 2018 at the International Convention Centre  (ICC), Sydney, at 8.30-10am. The theme of the meeting is “Training and Maintaining Skills for Rural Practice” with Dr Colin Chilvers and Dr Peter Cook.

Rural SIG Meeting 2017
The Rural SIG held their 2017 meeting at the Cable Beach Resort and Spa on July 7-8. The theme of the meeting was "Delivering obstetric anaesthesia to the bush". Please click here to view the session slides from this meeting.

Rural SIG Meeting 2016

The 2016 Rural SIG Meeting was held from June 17-19 at Hotel Realm in Canberra. The theme of the meeting was "The Return of the Accidental Intensivist".
