2018 ANZCA ballot electronic vote

For the first time, fellows will be able to vote for their ANZCA Council, FPM Board, and New Zealand and regional committee leaders electronically.

In 2016 the ANZCA Council approved changes to the constitution to allow for electronic voting in ANZCA elections. Elections held in 2018 will be conducted electronically. This is an exciting time for the college as it means voting will be more efficient and will reduce the number of informal votes.

ANZCA will be using Election Runner to manage the elections which includes the ANZCA Council election, the FPM Board election, all regional committee elections and New Zealand national committee elections.

For the 2018 elections, voters will be sent voting details via email or if ANZCA does not have an email address, a letter will be sent. However from 2019 onwards it is expected that all eligible voters will have provided ANZCA with an email address or have updated their "Do Not Contact Details" if they do not want to be contacted by the college.

Frequently asked questions

How do I vote?
A unique user ID and password will be sent to your email address. Clicking the link in the email will enable access to Election Runner. If ANZCA does not have an email address a letter will be sent with voting details and a web link.

How can I be sure my information is secure and my vote is anonymous?     The tool ANZCA has selected is called Election Runner. Election Runner will randomly generate a unique ID and password that can only be used once for voting and is unique to each voter. All data held in Election Runner is secure and meets ANZCA security standards.
