Administrative Structure

The Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine is administered by a Board which is elected by the Fellowship, and is supported by sub-committees. The Dean and other office bearers are elected by the Board. The administration, examinations and training headquarters are located in Melbourne and are administered by the Executive Officer.

Elected Regional/National Committees in Australia and New Zealand support the headquarters function and carry out appropriate training, supervision and continuing medical education in their regions.

A Panel of Examiners is appointed to assess the performance of candidates for the Fellowship Examination.
