Important Dates
Trainees and Supervisors should be aware of the following key dates:
Date of Registration - Trainees registering for advanced training must register within three months of commencing in the training position, and submit an application for approval of training, in order for the position to be approved. Basic trainees can register at any time up to advanced training, but it is recommended to contact the Joint Faculty prior to commencing in any training position.
Exam Dates - A Primary Examination is held annually. The General Fellowship Examination is run twice a year, with the first Written component held in March of April, and the Oral Sections in May. The written component of the second exam is held in August, with the oral sections in October.
In-training assessments - must be completed by Supervisors and forwarded within two weeks of completion of the training period.
Training Fees must be paid by 30th April of the year of training, or within three months of commencing in the post.
