ANZCA ASM 2008 – Call for Abstracts
The 2008 New South Wales Regional Organising Committee invites Fellows and Trainees to submit an abstract for the free paper and poster sessions of the ANZCA ASM in 2008.
All abstracts must be submitted online at the ASM website www.anzca2008asm.com
The theme "Anaesthesia: Science, Art and Life" encompasses all aspects of practice in anaesthesia, intensive care and pain medicine. The scientific program will include all major subspecialty clinical areas and a range of artistic and lifestyle topics relevant to anaesthesia. All special interest groups will be represented and many relevant areas of internal medicine, psychiatry, ultrasound, medicolegal issues, education, professionalism, editorial work, incident monitoring, private practice, humanitarian aid work, research design and business management will also be included.
The Committee encourages research in all areas of anaesthetic, pain medicine and intensive care practice to be submitted. Accepted abstracts will be sorted into themes where possible and will be accepted as oral presentations or posters. When submitting your abstract, you will be asked to indicate if you wish your abstract to be considered for the Gilbert Brown Prize, FPM Dean’s Prize or Formal Project Prize. The closing date for submission is 8 February 2008.
