ANZCA Curriculum Review – Have your say!
The ANZCA Curriculum Review Working Group (CRWG) would like to invite submissions from any individual or group with an interest in the ANZCA Training Program and/or ANZCA Clinical Teacher Development and Support Initiatives. Submissions will be open until 31 December 2008.
The ANZCA Training Program is undergoing a major review, which has been designed to ensure that the curriculum remains contemporary, and that ANZCA trainees are experiencing the highest quality teaching and learning opportunities and achieving optimal clinical competence. To begin the review process, the ANZCA CRWG are making an open invitation for submissions to help them guide the review process.
Making a submission will allow you to convey to the ANZCA CRWG:
- your opinions and suggestions regarding the current ANZCA Training Program;
- your suggested set of desired outcomes of ANZCA training (e.g. the knowledge, skills and professional attributes an ANZCA trainee should possess upon completion of training);
- your ideas for innovation within the ANZCA Training Program;
- your ideas for a comprehensive clinical teacher training and support program for ANZCA Fellows; and
- other information you think might be relevant for a comprehensive curriculum review.
