Queensland Health Quality and Complaints Commission
Help improve health services - the Health Quality and Complaints Commission (HQCC) is calling for Expressions of Interest to join key advisory boards focused on health and community issues.
As an independent organisation, the HQCC is responsible for monitoring the quality improvement of health services and managing complaints.
To fulfill these important functions, the Consumer Advisory Committee and Clinical Advisory Committee are vital in providing the Commission with relevant advice and information.
The function of the Consumer Advisory Committee is to advise on consumer concerns about health services, while the Clinical Advisory Committee informs on clinical matters relevant to the HQCC’s functions.
The advice provided by these committees ensures the HQCC keeps in touch with consumer concerns and clinical issues.
Expressions of Interest are due by close of business on 21 July 2008.
For an information kit, including committee terms of reference and how to apply, please visit www.hqcc.qld.gov.au or call Tracey Jenkins on 07 3120 5991 or 1800 077 308.
