Media Centre
The communications department is responsible for communicating the College’s activities and achievements and its world leadership in setting professional standards, education and training in anaesthesia, intensive care and pain medicine.
This includes promoting research to increase safety and comfort of patients and improve the treatment of acute pain. The department also communicates the College’s position on important health issues and builds relationships with governments at all levels in both Australia and New Zealand. It is responsible for internal and external relations which includes media relations, government relations, corporate publications and community relations which includes the ANZCA Foundation, an initiative to fund much needed research.
