Submissions
ANZCA is actively involved in preparing a wide range of submissions in response to a plethora of government policy initiatives as well as specific inquiries. The submissions are normally co-ordinated by the Director Policy in close consultation with the Directors of Professional Affairs, Council Fellows and College senior staff.
Through the submission process ANZCA
is able to articulate the College’s position on a number of important issues
that impact on ANZCA Fellows, the health system, and broader community.
Recent submissions include the Australian National Health and Hospitals reform Commission and the New South Wales Garling inquiry into acute care services in NSW public hospitals.
