Donate now

By donating to the ANZCA Research Foundation you are helping to make anaesthesia and surgery safer for more people, especially the vulnerable. You are helping to improve treatment for people in acute and chronic pain.

Your gift will help to save lives and reduce the number of patients who suffer from post-operative complications by increasing the foundation's ability to support medical research projects led by ANZCA Fellows in leading hospitals and universities. ANZCA covers the foundation's expenses so all donations go towards supporting medical research and education.

Donations are tax-deductible in Australia and New Zealand.

About your gifts

Donations to the ANZCA Research Foundation in Australia and New Zealand are fully tax deductible. ANZCA is endorsed as a deductible gift recipient (DGR) (Item 1) and a tax-concession charity (TCC) under the Australian Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.

ANZCA's New Zealand National Committee is listed as a donee organisation by the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department, and is registered as a charity by the New Zealand Charities Commission under the Charities Act 2005. All New Zealand donations will fund research and education programs in New Zealand thereby meeting the requirements of New Zealand's Inland Revenue Department.

The foundation is extremely grateful to all of its donors, including the many Fellows who have included donations with their annual subscription, become patrons or included a bequest in their will.

"Pioneering research undertaken by ANZCA Fellows is showing the way to the world, and Australian and New Zealand anaesthetists have set the benchmark for safety internationally. I am confident that in the coming years the Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine Foundation can make an important contribution to better anaesthesia...and the discovery of new ways to fight pain."
Dr Walter Thompson, former president of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

"The foundation is dedicated to raising funds for medical research. The support of people and organisations in the past have permitted the College to provide grants that have contributed to important research outcomes. By giving your support you will be ensuring that we can continue to fund vital research projects."
Dr Leona Wilson, foundation patron and board member and past president of ANZCA.
