Request a literature search

Literature searching involves capturing the key literature for a particular topic. ANZCA Library staff can assist users to search databases more effectively, or conduct a literature search on your behalf.

Request a search

By completing the form below, ANZCA Library staff can perform a literature search that includes specialty databases not available via the Library website. The search results include the search strategy used and a list of relevant articles with abstracts for you to review. An EndNote file is available on request.

Please allow 5-10 working days for staff to complete the literature search. During peak usage times or for more complex search topics, we may negotiate timelines with you. Urgent patient care requests should be specified in the form below by adding "URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR PATIENT CARE" and your "REQUIRED BY" date in the Additional Information box at the bottom of the page.

Set up a saved search alert

If you would like to receive updates when a new article is published for your search topic, please specify by adding "SET UP AS SAVED SEARCH ALERT" and your desired frequnecy (MONTHLY, FORTNIGHTLY, WEEKLY or ON DATABASE UPDATEin the Additional Information box at the bottom of the page.
