Medline and Embase database upgrade
OvidSP databases Medline and Embase will undergo a major upgrade from Monday August 2 and Ovid journals will be improved.
OvidSP Medline and OvidSP Embase will have more flexibility and access options to support your online research activity. Improvements include:
- My Projects to allow you to manage a whole research project from a single interface. Create a personal account and store citations, searches, full text articles, files from your computer, snippets and annotations.
- A toolbar application to access My Projects from any external website.
- More citation styles and formats, export and print using MS Word, PDF, EndNote and more.
- New search filters, highlighting, and drag-and-drop functionality.
Please note: For members who have saved a search in either of these databases, the search will now be held in the library's personal account. Contact Laura to set up a personal account and transfer your searches.
For Ovid journals, an RSS feed or e-mail alert will be available for table of contents notifications. The Ovid journals are:
- Academic Medicine.
- Anesthesia and Analgesia.
