IMGS Assessment Process

Each step of the IMGS Assessment Process has a fee assocaited with it. Below is a list of the fees you will be required to pay throughout this process.

IMGS annual clinical practice assessment (CPA) fee Australia only The CPA fee is paid annually and includes access to the ANZCA CPD program. Further information on this fee can be found here	$AUD3,167 per 12 months	CPA payment for
Workplace-based assessment (WBA) fee. Only those IMGS who are required to undertake a WBA are required to pay the WBA fee.	$AUD6,050 including 10% GST $NZD 6,325 including 10% GST	WBA payment form

Area of Need pathway

If you are undertaking the Area of Need pathway you will be required to pay the following fees:

Area of Need assessment fee Australia onlyThis fee must be paid prior to assessment of any applciation	$AUD 1,582 including 10% GST	The AMC payment form should be used for all AoN applications
On-site assessment fee. Further information of the on-site assessment can be found here. Note - This fee is usually paid by the employing hospital.	$1,500 inc 10% GSTplus reasonable expenses incurredby the assessor during the assessment.	An invoice will be sent directly to the hospital administration once the on-site is completed.

Specialist in Training

If you apply for assessment via the Specialist in Training pathway you will be required to pay an application fee of $398 including 10% GST using this form.

All fees are payable by cheque, money order or credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) in Australian or New Zealand dollars (as appropriate) using the appropriate forms.
