3. Application for Fellowship
When sending in your application for Fellowship, please ensure that you also send in any outstanding documentation such as AVT Forms or Module Completion Forms. This will ensure there are no delays with your processing your application.
Also a reminder that your application for Fellowship cannot be accepted until you have completed 60 months of approved training time, completed all modules including your Formal Project, passed both Examinations and have completed either an ATLS/EMAC/EMST course and sent verification of this into the College for your training file.
4. Formal Project Policy change
Some changes to the process of project submission were recently introduced – these apply to all projects submitted from August 16 2008 and are as follows:
1. The project must be submitted to your Formal Project Officer via the College Regional/National Office.
2. The project must be in electronic format (unless the nature of the material does not allow this).
3. You must sign a statement that your project is original work and that you have acknowledged all sources of assistance and the work or ideas of others.
4. If your project is a collaboration with others (e.g. if you are an author on a publication with other authors), a supervisor/co-author must submit a statement indicating that you conducted a major part of the project or made a significant contribution.
5. In the uncommon situation that your project is rejected, you may apply to the College for a Reconsideration of the decision (see http://www.anzca.edu.au/resources/regulations/regulation-30.html).
Full details of formal project requirements can be found at: http://www.anzca.edu.au/resources/professional-documents/training-educational/te11.html.
Should you have any queries regarding the above please do not hesitate to contact the Training & Assessments Department.
