Candidate Statement - Dr Noam Winter

In the last 5 years I’ve worked in public and private practice in both Victoria and Queensland. This has enabled me to gain an understanding of the major issues facing our doctors, services and patients. Having now resumed full time public practice in a leadership role, I believe I am well placed to advocate for our doctors and patients with a focus on adaptive leadership in what is likely to be an uncertain decade ahead.

I am an enthusiastic contributor to the Faculty of Pain Medicine and am now entering a leadership position in my department, in what is hopefully a long career in pain medicine. I was a recent attendee at the ANZCA Emerging Leader’s Conference and complemented this with the RACMA Leadership for Clinicians Course.
