Paediatric insights – Improving the patient experience

Dr Daniel Andreasen-Cocker is a paediatric dentist. He graduated from the University of Western Australia and worked in rural private practice before moving back to Perth to work as a paediatric dental resident at The Princess Margaret Hospital. Dan moved to Melbourne to undertake specialist paediatric dentistry training at the University of Melbourne. Since then he has worked at the Royal Children's Hospital, the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne and in private practice. He’s now head of the specialist paediatric dentistry unit at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.

Dan has a particular interest in reviewing the system processes to reduce preventable hospitalisations for dental care, with a focus on repeat hospitalisations and in-patient centred care.
