Dr Jess Davies

Dr Jess Davies is a staff anaesthetist at Austin Health and is passionate about implementing environmentally sustainable practices into healthcare while still delivering a high standard of patient care.

While a trainee she started a sustainability research network called TRA₂SH (pronounced trash) that has over 370 members in Australia, NZ and UK.

She is an honorary clinical fellow in the University of Melbourne’s Department of Critical Care, is an active member of their sustainability and planetary health network and is embarking on a PhD exploring how implementation science can improve the uptake of sustainable practices in perioperative settings.
