Dr Ashvin Paramanathan

Dr Ashvin Paramanathan is an anaesthetist at the Royal Darwin Hospital.

He has extensive experience in regional anaesthesia through training and work at the Gold Coast University Hospital as a junior consultant and at Lismore Base hospital.  Ashvin has been a facilitator at regional anaesthesia workshops over the last three years with an appointment at the Australian Institute of Ultrasound.

Ashvin runs anatomy based workshops for anaesthetists and was an anatomy demonstrator at Melbourne University as part of his PgDip Anatomy. He has been part of vascular access projects and workshops run at Queensland Children’s Hospital including presentations at national meetings

He is always eager to learn from others including trainees that attend workshops and looks forward to meeting all of you in June.
