Ms Viv Allanson

2020 has been extremely challenging for all sectors and particularly aged care. Leading a team in a pandemic is not easy. It has and continues to be challenging; juggling responsibilities, navigating health advise and subsequent restrictions in an effort to keep everyone safe and importantly happy!!

Viv Allanson is a leader who never accepts the status Quo. Driven by a desire to help others Viv has devoted herself to caring for people in need her entire career. Viv commenced her nursing career in the public hospital system in 1975 and made a conscious decision in 1991 to shift to the aged care sector. Viv joined Maroba in 1994 as Director of Nursing and in 2000 was offered the role of CEO. 

Viv is a leader who strives to bring others on the journey of growth and change, always generously sharing her time and experience to support all who aspire to be a 'difference maker'. The Registered Nurse in Viv never lays down and is always advocating for the profession, and its advancement as an integral part of the Health Care team.
