Royal Flying Doctor Service - Queensland Section

Dr Andrew Cronin is a Rural Generalist in Queensland. He has a background in Aeromedical Retrievals, General Practice Anaesthesia and Occupational Medicine. For the past few years, Andrew has been working in rural and remote Queensland for the Royal Flying Doctor Service providing primary health care and aeromedical retrieval services to communities as remote as Birdsville and Thargomindah in Western Queensland.
 
Dr Cronin provides casual anaesthetic services to Mackay Base Hospital, Thursday Island Hospital and attends regular upskilling in anaesthesia at Ipswich Hospital and the Queensland Childrens' Hospital.
 
Dr Cronin graduated from the University of Queensland in 2007 and has subsequently obtained a Master of Public Health and a Graduate Certificate in Health Management. In addition, Dr Cronin is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, with an Associate Fellowship in Medical Administration.
