Professor John Gallagher

Professor John Gallagher is a Specialist and Clinical Senior Lecturer in Occupational Medicine and Adjunct Professor at University College Cork (UCC). He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and Academic Director of the Diploma and Certificate Courses in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work in UCC. He was previously Dean, Vice Dean, National Specialty Director, Specialist Trainer and Examiner with the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. He is a Consultant in Occupational Medicine with the Occupational Health Departments of the Health Service Executive South, Bon Secours Hospital, Mercy and South Infirmary/Victoria hospitals and Mater Private Hospital Cork. He is founder and Chief Medical Officer of Cognate Health Ltd.  He is also a Supervisor and past External Examiner at Cardiff University (UK) MSc programme in OH.
