Candidate statement
If re-elected, I will bring a distinctive skillset to Council, comprising knowledge of the law, governance, health policy and social media. I have considerable insight from years of service with the College, and I have worked in both Australia and New Zealand, including non-metropolitan areas.
I am dedicated to maintaining ANZCA’s high standards in training, CPD, safety, professionalism, research and perioperative medicine. I will champion gender equity, diversity and inclusion, doctors’ wellbeing and environmental sustainability. I will promote transparency, accountability and clear communication, while endeavouring to raise the profile of anaesthesia, perioperative medicine and pain medicine to benefit our patients.
