Associate Professor Mia Hoogenboom

Assoicate Professor Mia Hoogenboom is Head of Discipline for Marine Biology at James Cook University, and a Program Leader in the ARCCOE for Coral Reef Studies. Her research develops ecological data and mechanistic models for forecasting changes in ecosystem productivity under environmental change, and bridges the fields of physiology, ecotoxicology, and global change biology. She is an internationally recognised ecophysiology researcher and has worked in world-leading research institutions in Australia, Scotland, Monaco and the Netherlands.
