The Saturday lecture program is packed with outstanding speakers from across Australia, as well as several local experts and thought leaders. The program will examine the themes of reducing perioperative harm for patients, colleagues and the environment.
During the afternoon, delegates will have the opportunity to choose one of three workshops:
- Strategies for health and wellbeing at work
- ALS emergency response workshop
- Cultural safety workshop

Social program
Our social activities include an informal complimentary delegate welcome dinner on the Friday night, which will be held at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station historical reserve, thanks to the Alice Springs Hospital Anaesthetic Department.
The conference dinner will be onsite at Tali Restaurant at the Convention Centre.
Tickets/additional tickets can be selected for these events at time of registration and partners are most welcome.
Cost and registration
Registration is now open, please register online with your college ID.
All other delegates including allied health members and other medical specialties can also register online. Please select “Create a new account” and enter your details. Once you are set up, search for the event and register. You will also be able to use your ID number and password to register for future meetings. If you require assistance, please contact us.
Registration will include welcome dinner (additional tickets can be purchased for partners); conference lunch, morning and afternoon tea. Conference dinner tickets can be purchased when completing your registration.
Additional tickets for social functions can also be purchased for your guests. All registration fees are quoted in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST.

Call for audit posters
We invite abstracts of original audits done within your department that are relevant to the 2023 NT ACE Conference themes of improved environmental impact, examined mental health wellbeing and affected perioperative outcomes for poster presentations at the conference. The three best posters will be selected for an oral presentation at the conference. The best judged poster will be awarded a $500 voucher and a certificate recognising the award.

Continuing professional development (CPD)
Participants in the ANZCA and FPM CPD Program will automatically have their attendance auto-populated to their CPD portfolio within 14 days of the conclusion of the meeting.

Lectures/webinars and wellbeing CPD education sessions for one credit per hour. Workshops and small group discussions for two credits per hour.

If you're not participating in the ANZCA and FPM CPD program, please check with your respective college/provider regarding regarding your CPD classifications. Post-event, you may request an electronic certificate of attendance for CPD evidence from the event organiser.
