Associate Professor Catherine McDougall is an orthopaedic and arthroplasty surgeon. She is currently the Clinical Director of Surgery at the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS) and the clinical lead for the Getting it Right First Time program with Queensland Health.

Catherine is a Co-Chair of the Australia and New Zealand Hip Fracture Registry (ANZHFR) and has a particular interest in pre operative optimisation and infection prevention in arthroplasty surgery, quality improvement programs at systems level and orthogeriatrics.
