Menopause matters: Breaking the silence

Join us for the second free webinar in a series chaired by Gender Equity Subcommittee (GESC) Chair Dr Claire Stewart that sheds light on the various facets of menopause and more specifically how it affects women in the workplace.

  • Gain valuable insights into common presentations.
  • Learn about the impacts on professional life.
  • Gain strategies which may assist in managing this transition.

We'll be hearing from anaesthetist and researcher Dr Andrea Binks who will discuss the findings of her recent survey on menopause and psychiatrist, researcher, and women's mental health expert Professor Jayashri Kulkarni. They will be joined by ANZCA past president Dr Genevieve Goulding and GESC Deputy Chair Dr Greta Pearce for a panel discussion focusing on strategies for colleagues and managers to better support perimenopausal women in the workplace.

We would like to thank the speakers who donate many hours of their time to organise, prepare and present on this webinar.
