The pointy end: greening sharps and drug waste

Please join us for 'The pointy end: greening sharps and drug waste' webinar on Tuesday 22 November 6.30-7.30pm AEDT.

Sharps and pharmaceutical waste disposal presents an ongoing challenge for environmental sustainability in healthcare. Navigating this space can be confusing for medical professionals due to varying regulations across regions and within hospital networks.

In its next webinar, the ANZCA Environmental Sustainability Network will cover green disposal of sharps and drugs waste with two keynote speakers, Dr Martin Minehan and Dr Taryn Naggs who will share their research to shed light on these important issues.

We’ll then hear from an expert panel including Dr Daniel Brooks Reid who is the principal investigator for TRA2SH’s (Trainee-led Research and Audit in Anaesthesia for Sustainability in Healthcare) and have the opportunity to ask questions in a live Q&A.The webinar will be co-chaired by ESN Executive members Dr Archana Shrivathsa and Dr Rajesh Pachchigar.

We encourage and invite participation from all healthcare professionals to join us for this webinar.

We would like to thank Drug Waste International for supporting this webinar.
