ANZCA Council visit to Wellington

05 October 2022

ANZCA Council held their September meeting in Wellington on the 16 and 17 September, their first ever New Zealand meeting.

Fourteen councillors and support staff journeyed to Wellington for a two-day council meeting in the ANZCA New Zealand office.

Commencing on Thursday evening with a meet and greet, Dr Sally Ure, past New Zealand National Committee (NZNC) chair and new ANZCA Council member presented an introduction to Māori language with an opportunity to practice a waiata for the next day’s cultural workshop held at Te Papa. They were joined by Dr Brendan Little, a member of the Māori Anaesthetists Network Aotearoa (MANA).
