2023 ANZCA and FPM CPD program requirements approved

01 August 2022

Requirements for the 2023 ANZCA and FPM CPD program are now available following approval from ANZCA Council.

Throughout 2022, the ANZCA and FPM Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee and CPD review project group (CPD-RPG) have been reviewing the 2014 ANZCA and FPM CPD program, to ensure participants meet the Medical Board of Australia’s (MBA’s) new CPD registration standard and the Medical Council of New Zealand’s (MCNZ’s) recertification documents.

Updates have been shared on the CPD-RPG webpage throughout the project. Following evaluation of the program and development of a report to determine the updated CPD framework, the proposed framework has now been approved by ANZCA Council.

Details of the 2023 ANZCA and FPM CPD requirements and supporting transition process are now available here.

Please note that the 2023 ANZCA and FPM program will start for some CPD participants on 1 January 2023 and for the remaining participants on 1 January 2024. The only action required from you at this point is to finish your current CPD triennium.
