Seeking your input - CPD review project

10 March 2023

There are a number of opportunities for fellows and other CPD participants to have input into the CPD review project this year.

EOI - Private practice reference group

We're seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from fellows and other CPD participants working in private practice (either solely or partially) across Australia and New Zealand to join this newly formed reference group.

The group aims to:

  • Represent and address the needs of private practitioners with regards to meeting CPD requirements.
  • Maximise engagement of and communication with fellows and other CPD participants working in private practice with the ANZCA and FPM CPD Program.
  • Develop guidance to support those in private practice to meet the new regulatory requirements.

Time commitments would be three to four one-hour virtual meetings between April and October 2023, plus a small amount of prepatory work inbetween. This is a great opportunity to ensure our CPD program incorporates private practitioners’ perspectives and professional development experiences.

Please send EOIs to the CPD team.

Do you have a CPD story?

We’re putting together case studies and stories of ways our fellows and other CPD participants meet their CPD requirements. If you’re interested in sharing a story of how you’re approaching your professional development in 2023 which may help other members, we’d love to hear from you!

Please provide your details and a short idea for your story to the CPD team. We'll work with you to develop your story and determine the best way to share it.

CPD activities survey

In April 2023, we'll distribute a survey focusing on new activities which could be included in the ANZCA and FPM CPD Program. We're looking for a range of fellows and other CPD participants to complete the survey, to ensure our program best meets the needs of members. We'll share the survey link in college publications and on social media, so stay tuned!
