Daily vox pops, 'hot takes', and TopMed Talk
Throughout the meeting, the ANZCA communications team will be bringing ASM news to your ears, inboxes and Twitter feed! We’re also delighted to welcome TopMed Talk, the internationally acclaimed podcast series to our ASM. Professor Monty Mythen will interview several “Be connected” presenters, college leaders and anaesthesia and pain medicine experts from Saturday 6 May through to Tuesday 9 May within the HCI exhibition area. We’ll be making these podcasts available to delegates as part of the overall ASM package. We thank 3M for supporting Professor Mythen’s attendance at the meeting. Learn more here.
Wellbeing at the ASM
Reconnect with yourself! As part of our healthcare industry exhibition, we’ve arranged some awesome escapes from the hustle and bustle of the meeting. Three-minute massages; ’Paws the Pressure’ with cuddles and friendly paw-shakes; and five-minute standing yoga stations.
Get your glow on at the Gala Dinner
Dust off your dancing shoes and get your glow on in black tie, shimmer and sparkle. Spoil yourself with delicious cuisine, fine wine and enjoy the sounds of the big band that is sure to get you moving. We’re excited to reconnect at the Gala Dinner.
A crèche will be available across the main meeting days from 5-9 May. Accredited childcare provider Abracadabra Childcare Services will be providing high quality onsite childcare at the 2023 ASM in Sydney. Bookings need to be received ahead of time and close on Friday 28 April.
