2022 Queen's Birthday Honours

Congratulations to our Australian fellows recognised in this year's Queen’s Birthday Honours with the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).

Dr Michelle Mulligan OAM, FANZCA, FAICD (NSW)

Awarded for her service to medicine, particularly to anaesthesia.

Dr Mulligan is a former ANZCA councillor, chairing several committees including the Fellowship Affairs Committee (now the Professional Affairs Executive Committee) and the Investment Committee, and servicing on several others. She is a former honourary treasuer, medical editor of the ANZCA Bulletin, director of professional affairs and deputy assessor. 

Dr Jennifer Stedmon OAM, FANZCA, FAICD (WA)

Awarded for her service to medicine in the field of anaesthesia.

Dr Stedmon received an ANZCA Council Citation in 2017 in recognition of more than 20 years of global humanitarian work in countries such as Nepal, Sierra Leone and Cambodia. She served on a number of ANZCA committees including the WA Regional Committee which she chaired from 2010-2013, the Training Accreditation Committee and the Indigenous Health Committee.
