FPM Prize

We’re pleased to announce that the annual FPM Prize has been awarded to two recipients.

The prize is awarded to the top medical student in pain medicine in either of the final two years of medical training at participating universities. The two recipients are:

  • Josh Mo, from the University of Otago, Christchurch, for ‘Best Trainee Intern in Pain Medicine’. The prize is awarded by the university to the top medical student in pain medicine in either of the final two years of medical training.
  • Michael Bishop from the University of Newcastle, NSW, for his essay titled ‘Mindfulness Meditation: Pitfalls and Potential in Chronic Pain Treatment’.

The annual prize provided by FPM takes the form of a certificate and a $500 book voucher.
