New Director Professional Affairs, FPM
26 October 2022
Associate Professor Michael (Mick) Vagg has been appointed as director of professional affairs (DPA) for FPM Professional Affairs.
Earlier this year Professor Milton Cohen resigned his position as the director of professional affairs (DPA) for FPM Professional Affairs and the college owes him a debt of gratitude for the enormous contribution that he has made to the faculty and the field of pain medicine during his time in this role. However, as one chapter closes another one opens and the faculty is pleased to announce that Associate Professor Michael (Mick) Vagg has recently been appointed to this role.
Mick Vagg joins seven other DPAs who work across the college, each within their own particular areas of expertise. This role focuses primarily on policies as they relate to clinical and professional issues affecting the FPM Fellowship. This includes preparation of submissions, supporting the development of FPM professional documents and responding to enquiries of a clinical nature.
