New Medical Director for ANZTADC and webAIRS

Dr Yasmin Endlich will take up the position of Medical Director for the Australian and New Zealand Tripartite Anaesthetic Data Committee (ANZTADC) and webAIRS in January 2024.

The appointment follows the retirement of Dr Martin Culwick at the end of this year, who contributed for over 15 years, including being ANZTADC’s inaugural medical director and establishing webAIRS.

Dr Endlich is senior consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, a staff specialist for Adelaide Anaesthetic Services, a retrieval consultant for the Royal Flying Doctor Service Port Augusta Base, and a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Adelaide. She is also the chair of the ANZCA Global Development Committee and airway lead for South Australia.

We look forward to the contribution Dr Endlich will make to anaesthetic incident reporting, and recognise the immense legacy that Dr Culwick has created.
